Sensory Art Workshop

The Sensory Art Workshop came into fruition after attending The Well Collaborative’s Coffee and Connection. The Well is a membership-based community for women in Saskatoon, SK. Women who attend share stories, encourage one another to dream, and rise strong together to influence the world for good.

After attending a couple of events, I’ve been constantly meeting wonderful and extremely talented women who have inspired this endeavour. This workshop aims to explore how our senses can translate into visual shapes or tangible objects.

Our senses can trigger certain aspects of time, space, and emotion. I’m interested in exploring how certain food, sounds, and smells can translate visually. Whether it uncovers a collective consciousness of similarities or differences between visual or verbal outcomes.

My hope for this project is to have participants uncover their creativity, continue to challenge their perspectives, and ultimately have fun!
